02The problem
A growing hostel business in Dhaka — six properties, daily meal services, monthly billing, multi-location ops — was being run manually. As demand grew, the manual processes themselves became the constraint on growth. The owner needed software that scaled with the business, not around it.
03The approach
Three projects, sequenced. (1) A portfolio site showcasing all six properties with location, photos, amenities, and live availability — driving direct bookings. (2) A meal-management web app where residents pick meals (breakfast / lunch / dinner), the system tracks consumption per resident, auto-calculates monthly bills, and gives the admin a single dashboard with payment status and operational reports. (3) An accounting tool that connects to the meal app for one source of financial truth across all six properties.
